Bed Sheets Wholesale
Hotel bed sheets wholesale — flat and fitted sheets in cotton, percale and sateen, made to your bed size.
A hotel sheet is judged by two things that have nothing to do with each other: how it feels to lie on, and whether it still fits the bed after fifty washes. The second one is where most sheet programmes fail, and it is decided by the weave and the finishing rather than by the thread count on the label.
Sheets are bought by bed size, which sounds simple and is not, because bed sizes differ by market. A US king, a European king and a UK king are three different rectangles, and an order placed against the wrong one is unusable regardless of how good the fabric is. The first thing a sheet quotation needs is the actual mattress dimensions for the market being served.
HotelsLinen manufactures hotel bed sheets wholesale to a written specification from 500 pieces per style and colour — flat sheets, fitted sheets, and the pillowcases and duvet covers that go with them, in cotton, cotton-rich and poly-cotton constructions. Buyers fix the fibre, the weave, the thread count, the size list and the colour.
The buyers are hotels and resorts, serviced apartments, hospitals and care settings, student accommodation and hostels, cruise operators, and distributors supplying any of those. Sheets are almost always a repeat purchase, and the failure that matters is a re-order that no longer matches the stock in service.
The weave is the decision that is most misunderstood. Percale is a plain, closely woven construction with a crisp, matte finish that stays cool against the skin, and it is the usual choice for hotels because it presses well and wears evenly. Sateen is woven with more warp threads showing, giving a smoother, slightly lustrous surface; it feels softer new and shows wear and creasing more.
Thread count is a marketing number more than a specification. Beyond a point, piling on threads means thinner yarns, which are weaker and wear out faster in a commercial laundry. A well-made 200 to 300 thread count percale in a good cotton will outlast a 600 thread count sheet built from thin yarns, and it will press better.
Dimension stability is what decides whether a contract is profitable. A sheet that shrinks four per cent is a sheet that no longer fits, and the shrinkage happens on the first hot wash rather than gradually. Construction, yarn and finishing all affect it, and it is worth specifying against a stated shrinkage allowance rather than hoping.
Our factory is in the Nantong Home Textile Zone in Jiangsu, China, with weaving, dyeing, cutting, sewing and packing in one supply chain. Orders start at 500 pieces per style and colour with a typical four-week lead time after the sample and specification are approved.
Thread count, weave and what actually predicts comfort
The number on the label is the least useful part of a sheet specification. These three decisions are the ones that matter.
Percale against sateen
Percale is a plain weave: one thread over, one under, closely set. It is crisp, matte and cool, presses flat and wears evenly, which is why it dominates hotel use. Sateen floats more warp threads over the weft, giving a smoother and slightly shiny surface that feels softer when new but creases more and can show abrasion sooner.
Thread count, honestly
Thread count is the number of threads per square inch. Increasing it beyond a certain point means using finer yarns to fit more in, and finer yarns are weaker. In a commercial laundry a 200 to 300 count percale made from a good cotton outlasts a 600 count sheet built from thin yarns, and it is easier to press and fold.
Cotton, cotton-rich and poly-cotton
All-cotton breathes best and feels best against skin, and it is what an upscale property normally specifies. Cotton-rich blends cost less and crease less. Poly-cotton blends are the most durable and the easiest to launder and press, and they are common in high-turnover and healthcare settings where service life matters more than hand feel.
Bed sheet specification reference
A starting point for the specification conversation. Sizes must be confirmed against the actual mattress, not against a market name.

Sizes differ by market — confirm the mattress, not the name
This is the single most common cause of an unusable sheet order.
Why the names do not travel
A king bed in the United States, a king in the United Kingdom and a king in continental Europe are three different sizes, and none of them matches the others. Buying against a name rather than a measurement is how a container of sheets arrives that fits nothing in the building.
What to send
The mattress length, width and depth for each bed type in the property, plus the pocket depth for fitted sheets. Where a property uses mattress toppers, that depth has to be in the number as well, because a fitted sheet that clears the mattress but not the topper will not stay on.
Pillowcases and duvet covers
They follow the same rule. Pillow sizes differ between markets as well, and a duvet cover has to match both the duvet dimensions and the fill, because a cover that is too tight compresses the filling and a loose one bunches. Sending all three dimensions with the order keeps the set consistent.
Dimension stability and the fitted sheet
Shrinkage and corner construction cause more sheet failures in service than anything else.
Shrinkage happens on the first hot wash
A sheet that loses four per cent of its length no longer fits the bed, and the loss occurs on the first high-temperature cycle rather than gradually. Construction, yarn tension and finishing all influence it. Specify a shrinkage allowance rather than assuming, and confirm it after the sample has been washed.
Where fitted sheets fail
At the corner, where the elastic, the seam and the stress from the mattress meet, and where repeated hot washing works hardest. Corner construction, elastic specification and the pocket depth matter more to how long a fitted sheet lasts than the sheet body does.
Why a flat sheet is still specified
Many properties still use a flat sheet under the duvet, because it protects the duvet cover, washes at a higher temperature and is cheaper to replace. Where that is the practice, the flat sheet is the item that carries the service life of the bed, not the duvet cover.
What You Get
Why Source Bed Sheets Wholesale From HotelsLinen
Percale and sateen
A crisp, matte percale that presses flat and wears evenly for hotel use, or a smoother sateen where the brief calls for a softer hand.
Thread count explained honestly
We will say when a higher count means thinner, weaker yarns — because in a commercial laundry the count is not what predicts service life.
Sizes confirmed against the mattress
Length, width and depth taken from the actual beds, including topper depth for fitted sheets, rather than a market name.
Shrinkage specified, not assumed
A stated shrinkage allowance, confirmed after the sample has been through the wash, so a sheet still fits after fifty cycles.
Fitted sheet corner construction
Corner seams, elastic and pocket depth specified, because that is where fitted sheets fail in service.
One set across the property
Flat sheets, fitted sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers on one weave, shade and size list, so the bed is consistent room to room.
Branding on the sample
Woven labels and printed marks proofed on the sample so placement and colour are settled before bulk production.

FAQ
Common Questions
What is the MOQ for bed sheets wholesale?
Our standard minimum is 500 pieces per style and colour. Hotel orders normally cover several bed sizes and both flat and fitted sheets, which can be combined once the size list and specification are agreed.
What thread count should hotel bed sheets be?
Usually 200 to 300 in a good cotton percale. Higher counts are achieved by using finer yarns to fit more threads in, and finer yarns are weaker and wear faster in a commercial laundry. A well-made 250 count sheet outlasts a 600 count sheet built from thin yarns.
Percale or sateen?
Percale is a plain, closely woven construction that is crisp, matte and cool, presses flat and wears evenly — which is why it dominates hotel use. Sateen floats more threads for a smoother, slightly lustrous surface; it feels softer new but creases more and can show abrasion sooner.
How do I make sure the sheets fit our beds?
Send the mattress length, width and depth for every bed type, plus the pocket depth for fitted sheets and the topper depth where toppers are used. A king bed is a different size in the US, the UK and continental Europe, so buying against the name rather than the measurement is the usual cause of an unusable order.
Will the sheets shrink?
Some shrinkage is normal on the first high-temperature wash, and it is the reason a sheet stops fitting. It is a construction and finishing property rather than something that can be assumed away, so we specify an allowance and confirm it after the sample has been washed.
Why do fitted sheets wear out faster than flat sheets?
Because the corner is where the elastic, the seam and the stress from the mattress all meet, and repeated hot washing works hardest at that point. Corner construction, elastic specification and pocket depth matter more to the fitted sheet service life than the sheet body.
Cotton or poly-cotton for a hotel?
All-cotton breathes best and feels best against skin and is the usual choice for upscale properties. Poly-cotton blends are more durable and much easier to launder and press, which is why high-turnover and healthcare settings often specify them.
Do you supply pillowcases and duvet covers to match?
Yes, and they should be ordered from the same specification so the weave and shade match. Pillow sizes differ between markets, and a duvet cover has to match both the duvet dimensions and the fill.
Can bed sheets carry our logo?
Yes. Woven labels and printed marks are both available, and placement is normally on the hem or inside the pillowcase rather than in the middle of the sheet, since a mark in the sleeping area is felt rather than seen.
What is the lead time?
About four weeks after the sample and specification are approved. Weaving, dyeing and any branding are the steps most likely to move the date.
